Our organization’s fundraising focus is to support our Indigenous Academic Leadership Fund which is committed to advancing the educational attainment of Indigenous students. Each year, we look forward to celebrating a fun-filled and exciting day of opportunities for our community to show their support and commitment to Indigenous education.

FHQ Developments Annual Indigenous Economic Development Forum

FHQ’s Economic Development division is committed to Economic Reconciliation. Once a year we gather Nations to discuss and provide feedback to the Federal Government concerning Economic Development programs and participation. We identify barriers that prevent Indigenous people from being successful in their Ec Dev pursuits for future programs and prevent barriers to successful entry.

Tokata Indigenous Students & Professionals Networking Event

This event brings together Businesses & Companies looking to hire Indigenous professionals and post-secondary students. The intent of the networking event is to have the employer engage with Indigenous professionals & students in a meaningful employment-related dialogue. This event will allow organizations the opportunity to develop their own upcoming student contacts for future employment opportunities, summer-student opportunities and/or co-op opportunities within the Indigenous student talent pool.
